Did you know? Dr. Daniels...

• Is an avid musician playing guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, and drums.

• He almost deferred medical school because he was playing bass in a band (with dyed purple hair!) in Vancouver that, according to their manager, was being checked out by Sony.

• He was voted Honorary Class President for the Class of 2017. The "honour" was to throw the class a party, but instead of the usual night out at a bar or restaurant, Dr. Daniels put on a rock show "for the class, from the class" with 20 of the graduating students on stage at various points of the two hour show.

• In February 2018, Dr. Daniels played at an open mic fundraiser with colleague Dr. Roshan Abraham to send first year medical students to the US Virgin Islands to help clean up hurricane damage with All Hands and Hearts

• In April 2018 and 2019, Dr. Daniels MC'ed the medical school students' annual Battle of the Bands fundraiser raising money for Heart of the City Music Program.
